Three La Liga aces odds-on for Prem…including Real Madrid pair

Over the years, many of the Premier League’s top talents – from David Beckham to Gareth Bale – have headed to La Liga, and in particular Real Madrid. But this summer a number of star players could be heading in the opposite direction.

Real could be about to sacrifice at least two of their Galacticos this summer in an attempt to free up funds for a summer influx. And it looks like James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata are England-bound.

The pair are both 4/6 to head to the Prem, with Rodriguez hotly tipped to join Manchester United, while Morata is wanted by both the Red Devils and Chelsea.

However, it’s Alvaro Negredo who heads the betting, with 1/3 for the Valencia ace – who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough – to head back to these shores this summer.

That trio are followed in the betting by Arda Turan (2/1), Isco (4/1) and a pair of Iago Aspas and Dani Parejo at 5s apiece.

However, it looks like Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale will both be staying in Spain for the time being, with our traders making it 6/1 for either Madrid-based ace to sign for a Prem club this summer.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s going to be a huge summer in the way of transfers and while a deal for Griezmann looks to be off, that’s not to say deals won’t be made for other huge La Liga names.”
