Odds slashed on Diego Costa moving to AC Milan this summer

Diego Costa could be set to swap Stamford Bridge for the San Siro, according to the latest odds.

We’ve slashed odds on the Spaniard joining AC Milan from 8/1 this morning into just 11/10.

Costa spoke publicly this week, revealing that Chelsea and Antonio Conte have informed him that he no longer features in their plans.

A move to the Chinese Super League remains the forward’s most likely destination at Evens.

As for who replaces Costa at Chelsea, our traders are no longer taking bets on Romelu Lukaku returning to West London.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “China’s limit on foreign players plus Atletico’s transfer bans has thrown spanners in Costa’s plans.

“But AC Milan need a headline signing, and Costa has made it clear Chelsea don’t want him anymore.”

Wherever Costa ends up, odds of 2/7 to leave this summer make it pretty clear he won’t be a Chelsea player next term.
