Monaco wonderkid Mbappe just 5/4 for Premier League move

He’s widely regarded as the biggest talent in football right now, and the race to sign Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe is only just getting started.

The forward’s dazzling displays have attracted the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs, and it’s amazing to think Mbappe only turned 18 seven months ago.

But with several sections of the press reporting different things on the French wonderkid, we’ve decided to let our traders do the talking on where the teenager will go.

They reckon it’s a more-than plausible 5/4 for Mbappe to become a Premier League player this summer.

Both Manchester City and Manchester United, but particularly Arsenal have been heavily linked with £100m+ deals for the striker.

Should either one manage to land the sought-after forward, it would arguably be the Premier League’s biggest signing in years.

The concern however, is that Real Madrid are the outright favourites to win the race at 2/1.

Despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s claims that he can go on for many years yet, the reality is that the Portuguese ace will be 33-years-old next February.

There were already signs from Zinedine Zidane last season that Ronaldo needed to be rested, and Mbappe – 13 years his junior – is the ideal successor for Real’s number seven.

Arsenal are next at 4/1, with Arsene Wenger reportedly spotted in Nice with Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis.

Man City are in at 8/1, ahead of neighbours United at 10s.

Wherever Mbappe goes this summer, any move looks set to smash Paul Pogba’s record and see him become the world’s most expensive player.

Our traders make it odds-on at 8/11 that any Mbappe move breaks the £89m Man United laid out for Pogba last year.
