Man United, Chelsea & Liverpool ready to spark mega spending spree
The Summer 2017 transfer window promises a hugely exciting shake-up of the Premier League squads, with Liverpool, Chelsea and – especially – Manchester United closing in on some of the game’s biggest names.
The Red Devils look almost certain to secure the services of Antoine Griezmann (4/11), but now our traders have them at just 9/4 to also add Everton’s Romelu Lukaku to the Old Trafford ranks this summer.
Alexandre Lacazette (6/1) and Andrea Belotti (7/1) are also dark horses to join their ranks. But the news that will worry one of their rivals far more is that United are just even-money to snap up Chelsea’s defensive rock Nemanja Matic before the window slams shut.
As for the Blues, they’re on course to bolster their ranks in the centre of the park, with Monaco’s defensive-midfield dynamo Tiemoue Bakayoko priced up at 1/2 to head to West London this summer.
Meanwhile, it’s a classy centre-back who seems set to be Liverpool’s first big addition of the summer, with Virgil van Dijk just 4/7 to finally make his much-rumoured move to Anfield.
Finally, there could be one huge name heading out of the Premier League, and in particular, out of Old Trafford.
That’s keeper David De Gea – with the Madrid native 4/6 to head to hometown club Real Madrid after five years in the North-West.
A Ladbrokes’ spokesperson said: “We’re all set for a transfer bonanza this summer, with one marquee signing after another on the cards in Manchester, Merseyside, Madrid and beyond!”
