Everton firm favourites to sign Leicester hitman this summer

The future of Romelu Lukaku is up in the air right now, but whether he stays at Goodison Park or not, the club seem intent on adding to their striking ranks…in the form of Jamie Vardy.

The Leicester City ace is 7/4 to join Ronald Koeman’s men this summer, with the Toffees boss reportedly making the prolific striker his number one target.

Vardy hit double figures again in the Premier League last term, managing 13 goals in the division, and 16 in all competitions. That figure took his tally to a magnificent 40 for the Foxes in the past two seasons.

And with Everton the only likely suitors for his signature, he could well still be at the King Power Stadium come the start of next season.

Arsenal – who were hotly linked with the 30-year-old last summer – do have an outside chance of securing his signature this time around, but they’re dark horses at 8/1.

Meanwhile, there’s 10s on offer for a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, with the same price available for the former Halifax Town man to make a lucrative switch to the Chinese Super League.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “The odds suggest Vardy will be wearing blue again next season, but whether it’s a Leicester or an Everton badge on his chest remains to be seen.”
