England Under-20s 4/6 for World Cup glory; Solanke 6/4 for milestone

Having dispatched Italy by a 3-1 margin in their Semi-Final, England Under-20s are now odds-on to lift the U-20 World Cup.

Our traders make it 4/6 for Paul Simpson’s side to overcome Venezuela in the Final and lift the trophy.

But while the Young Lions have impressed as a unit, there’s no doubt that Dominic Solanke has been the top performer, with four tournament goals so far.

The Liverpool newboy is just 7/4 to score 10+ Premier League goals next season, while 6/4 says he reaches double figures for England’s senior team during his career.

Optimistic England fans can enjoy odds of 7/1 on Solanke winning a World Cup with the senior side, and ambitious punters can also back the forward to break Wayne Rooney’s international goal tally (currently 53) at the hefty price of 50/1.

Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin said: “There’s plenty for patriotic punters to get excited about right now with the future looking very bright indeed. But Solanke has caught the eye of our traders, who clearly fancy him to take the Premier League by storm next season.”
