Could Hull City offer this boss an immediate step back into management?

It’s been less than a week since Hull City lost Marco Silva to Premier League outfit Watford, and the latest odds are suggesting it could be some time before a replacement is found.

So far, no boss in particular has pulled away in the market, with nine men being priced at 10/1 or less.

As things stand, the current favourite is former Southampton boss Nigel Adkins at 2/1, while Paul Lambert is now a 4/1 shot after he parted ways with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But could the Tigers be about to offer someone else an instant return to management?

Despite leading Sunderland to just six Premier League wins last season, plenty of clubs remain interested in the services of David Moyes – and there could be some value in the 8/1 on him moving to the KCOM Stadium.

Having failed miserably in his last three posts since leaving Everton back in 2013, it’s clear Moyes needs to readjust his own ambitions – certainly for the time being, at least.

And with that in mind, a move to recently relegated Hull could prove to be an exciting proposition.

It’s been a while since the Scot managed in the second tier of English football, but were he to take over the Tigers, you’d expect the board to give him at least two years to settle and help the club return to the Premier League.

So what do fans think about the idea of Moyes potentially being boss? Do you think his appointment would be a step in the right direction? Perhaps the inevitable arrival of Steven Pienaar, Adnan Januzaj and Joleon Lescott might do Hull some good!
