Big Brother star Lotan Carter could end up costing us a fortune

We’ll be kicking ourselves if Lotan Carter wins this year’s edition of Big Brother, having offered odds of 20/1 when the show started.

Now one of the frontrunners to be the last housemate standing, the 28-year-old is as short as 6/1, a price we’re expecting to see tumble further in the coming weeks.

Our odds-compilers report that the Dreamboy is by far the most popular housemate with punters, receiving twice as many bets as any other person in the Borehamwood bungalow.

Meanwhile, Deborah Agboola is least popular in terms of bets placed, and early interest in Ellie Young is now fizzling out.

Raphael Korine remains the 3/1 favourite.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It looks like we got this one completely wrong two weeks ago when we made Lotan a 20/1 shot as he’s continuing to impress viewers and punters alike. The way things are going, it won’t be long before he’s clear favourite for the BB crown ”
