BGT Update: Missing People Choir expected to breeze through to final

Published:

We’re edging closer and closer to finding out who’ll be crowned winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, but there are still two places in the final up for grabs.

However, our traders reckon they know who’ll be claiming said spots.

Having led the outright market from the offset, Missing People Choir are as short as 2/5 to win the public vote in tonight’s semi-final – that’s shorter than any other act has been this week.

Their only competition looks likely to come in the form of comedian, Daliso Chaponda. The Golden Buzzer act is a 3/1 shot to sail through ahead of the Missing People Choir this evening.

While that seems unlikely now, it’s worth noting that Sarah Ikumu was expected to breeze through to the final earlier on this week before exiting the competition.

As for the rest of tonight’s acts, we’re not rating their chances of progressing all that highly.

Jamie Lee Harrison and Jess Robinson are both 16/1 shots to go through, while Code 3, Lords of Strut and TNG Characters will all have to do something special if they’re to pull off a 33/1 upset.

And tonight’s rank outsiders are Perfect Pitch Creation, who are 50/1 to go through to Saturday’s final.

Missing People Choir’s odds have continued to fall over the last few weeks and they’re now shorter than they’ve ever been at 11/8, while Tokio Myers is just behind them in the outright market at 11/4.
