It’s Dante day at York and we caught up with Ladbrokes ambassador and legendary jockey Frankie Dettori at the resplendent Middlthorpe Hall Hotel to get his thoughts ahead of the off.
Naturally, Frankie was disappointed he wouldn’t be getting to ride Derby hopeful Cracksman or star filly So Mi Dar, with both declared non-runners following the recent deluge of rain.
However, he had plenty to say about Cracksman’s Epsom preparations and his remaining big hope on the Knavesmire, Ardad.
The ever-popular Italian also spoke about his other upcoming assignments and the Champions League final!
