Premier League Darts: We reckon we’re onto another winner this week

Published:

We were on the money last week when we tipped Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright both to come out of their respective clashes with Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld victorious.

And we’re equally as confident in our 2.78/1 double for Finals Night at the O2 Arena.

In truth, we’re struggling to pick a winner from either tie, as MVG faces two-time world champ, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright comes up against Phil Taylor.

But there are more markets than the Match Betting, and we’re taking full advantage of that this week.

So do you fancy getting on our latest Top Bet? Keep on reading to find out more…

Michael van Gerwen v Gary Anderson – Over 16.5 legs @ 11/10

Ask yourself this: can you really see either of these players losing by four or more legs?

We can’t.

More often than not, Van Gerwen and Anderson enjoy relatively close encounters, and that’s exactly what we’re anticipating here.

They actually met at this stage three years ago, where only a leg separated them, while the Flying Scotsman got the better of Might Mike in 2015’s final.

With that in mind, don’t be surprised to see this one go the distance. And if that happens, we’re 50% of the way towards a winning bet.

Peter Wright v Phil Taylor – Over 16.5 legs @ 4/5

Everything we’ve just said about the first game of the evening can be copied and pasted into this section too…

In short, this quartet (on their day) are as good as each other – or rather Anderson can match MVG as Taylor can match Wright.

This is the first time Snakebite has reached this stage of a Premier League competition, although no one would back against him based on recent form.

He does, however, face a man who’s been in this position so many times in the past that we’ve lost count. Put simply, The Power will not be brushed aside.

That makes for a close encounter on paper, and that’s exactly what we’re expecting when these two take to the oche.
