ITV Racing Tips: Get to the Point before Chester odds tumble again

The Chester May Meeting is always an unmissable midweek highlight and this year’s three-day extravaganza looks sure to live up to expectations again.
Wednesday is chock-full of plot lines and stories waiting to unfold with the Cheshire Oaks and tricky Chester Cup the opening day highlights.
Will Aidan O’Brien and his Ballydoyle stars carry on their stellar form at this track?
And where does the value lie in the feature race handicap?
ITV Racing will be screening four of the seven races set to take place and once again we’ve pulled out tips for each of the terrestrial television contests.
Here’s what to follow…
Aidan O’Brien has a fantastic record on the Roodee and right now it’ll take a brave person to oppose any of his stars.
The O’Brien-Ryan Moore partnership have taken the last two renewals and there’s every reason to suggest Alluringly will bring up the hat-trick.
She got off the mark at the third time of asking at Tipperary less than three weeks ago and that comfortable four and three-quarter length success, coupled with her breeding and stable’s form, is difficult to pick holes in.
The Roger Varian-trained Tansholpan looks the principal danger following her third in a Listed contest at Newmarket and it’d be no surprise to see her push our NAP all the way.
David Evans is triple-handed in this contest but the best of the bunch looks to be Yogi’s Girl. She’s drawn well and improved markedly when scoring at Windsor last time out on her second start.
The beaten favourite in that race has gone to take a useful prize and we’re expecting another big effort from this progressive looking juvenile.
Market leader Emilia James also made all on her previous outing but at the prices we’re happy enough with our tip.
Savvy punters are already latching onto Roger Charlton’s Blakeney Point so you’d better be quick to grab the value.
With the draw all-important at this track it hasn’t gone unnoticed that our selection has been handed a berth from stall one.
Six of the last 10 winners have come from stalls one to five although that isn’t the only thing in this progressive performer’s favour.
Three wins from his last four starts, including a course victory over 2m last September, further enhance the four-year-old’s claims.
And as mentioned, this Lively Longshot’s juicy odds are unlikely to last for much longer.
The likes of Sea Of Heaven and Golden Spear are capable of overcoming the draw but they might well have too much to do when push comes to shove.
