How Twitter reacted to Arsenal’s Emirates FA Cup Final win
Published:Arsenal have won this season’s Emirates FA Cup, beating Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley Stadium this evening.
The Gunners are now the outright most successful team in the competition’s history having lifted the cup for the 13th time and third time in the last four years.
Their latest triumph also saw manager Arsene Wenger reach a landmark milestone with the Frenchman now the most successful FA Cup boss with seven wins.
Alexis Sanchez got the ball rolling after just four minutes when running through to prod past Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. There were hints of handball but the Wembley maestro wasn’t to be denied.
And despite the fact Antonio Conte’s Premier League champions went down to 10-men following the dismissal of Victor Moses they rallied to equalise via a deflected Diego Costa effort on 76 minutes.
However, just three minutes later Aaron Ramsey’s header restored an advantage the North London outfit refused to surrender.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Arsenal lifting the cup.

A lot of love for match-winners Sanchez and Ramsey. And a certain BFG. But more of that later.
Alexis Sanchez has now scored 7 goals in his last 5 starts at Wembley for club & country.

No pleasing this guy though. However, there was some praise for the team.
Why would any sane Arsenal fan be Wenger in? We’ve become a laughing stock. https://t.co/UBHVIvzJ0l
