Could Man United muscle in on PSG’s Perisic hopes?

Manchester United could be set to land a major deal for Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic.

Reports from Italian outlet Tuttosport Inter director has flown to England for talks with the Red Devils over a potential deal.

The 28-year-old has shone for the San Siro outfit, scoring ten times in Serie A this term in addition to eight assists for his team-mates.

It’s believed United are willing to offer £34m, although Inter had been holding out for £45-50m.

The odds suggest it’s a two-horse race, with former favourites Liverpool now out at 8/1.

It had been believed earlier this year that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was homing in on a Perisic reunion, having brought the forward from Club Brugge to Borussia Dortmund in 2011.

But the Anfield outfit have been ousted in the market by Inter’s rivals Juventus at 11/2.

Arsenal are at 10/1, just ahead of local foes Tottenham at 12/1.

Atletico Madrid can also be backed at 12s, with Marseille the outsiders at 16/1.
