The Conservative Party are now as short as 1/50 to win the Most Seats at next month’s General Election, according to the latest odds.

The likelihood of a bluewash has further increased, meaning customers who still wish to place a bet on the Election would need to wager £50 in order to see winnings of just £1.

Meanwhile, the news doesn’t get any better for the opposition.

As Jeremy Corbyn officially launched Labour’s campaign in Manchester, money started to trickle in for 3/1 favourite Yvette Cooper to become the next permanent leader of the party.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Corbyn might say he’s going nowhere, but punters think otherwise. Four weeks is a long time in politics, but it’s looking harder and harder by the day that Labour will defy the odds on June 8.”
