Bournemouth hotshot King emerges as Tottenham target

They’re within touching distance of becoming a regular trophy-winning squad, but Tottenham Hotspur could use one or two more players this summer.
And one man who has been linked with a move is Bournemouth’s Joshua King.
The 25-year-old has done remarkably well to net 15 goals in the Premier League for the Cherries this season.
King boasts tactical flexibility too, being capable of playing as either a centre-forward, a second-striker or as a winger on either flank.
And with a valuation of just £3.8m on transfermarkt.co.uk, the former Manchester United man could be the bargain of the summer.
King is no stranger to top-level football now, having spent two seasons in the top-flight at Dean Court.
His stock has never been higher, and despite his Cherries’ contract running until 2020, a sizeable bid of around £15m could twist their arm.
Tottenham are chasing Chelsea hard in the title race, while they reached the Emirates FA Cup semi-finals too.
But it’s widely regarded that Mauricio Pochettino still needs to bring in one or two faces, if they are to win silverware while also competing in the Champions League.
And up front the White Hart Lane outfit still only boast Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen.
So with a serious push in the Premier League and in Europe the minimum expected next season, a third striker really wouldn’t go amiss.
King is has proven his ability at the top level, is improving all the time, can play in a number of roles, and is very likely available for under £20m. Watch this space.
