BGT Betting Update: Can anyone get near The Missing People Choir?

Published:

We were treated to another varied batch of acts this weekend, each hoping to become winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. But who’s hot and who’s not?

Well, it looks as though no one can get near The Missing People Choir, who remain 11/4 favourites ahead of Sarah Ikumu (9/2).

But if there’s one act who stood out in the latest episode, it was flexible foursome Angara Contortion.

The Russian circus act wowed the audience and judges alike and have entered the market as 8/1 shots to go all the way and win this year’s competition.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, we reckon that could be cracking value.

We were introduced to the second 16-year-old male singer-songwriter this weekend too. And it looks as though Harry Gardner has struck a chord with punters. He’s also an 8/1 shot to go all the way, while Reuben Gray is a 12/1 shot.

John ‘Hoop Guy’ Parnell – despite receiving the buzzer treatment from Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon – somehow progressed to the next stage of the competition.

However, he’ll have to do plenty if he’s to win the show as right now he’s priced at 100/1 to go be crowned champion.

In short, we’ve seen very little in the way of potential challengers for the BGT crown, and our odds-compilers are seemingly confident The Missing People Choir will go all the way and become the first choir to win.

In terms of ones to watch, here are out top three to keep an eye on over the coming weeks…

Angara Contortion – 8/1

Issy Simpson – 12/1

Daliso Chaponda – 14/1
