West Brom early favourites for Terry as Chelsea exit confirmed

John Terry is being backed by our customers to join West Bromwich Albion this summer.

Following the news that the Chelsea stalwart will leave the Blues at the end of the season, punters have been putting their money on the former England international to join the Baggies.

West Brom are the market favourites at 7/4, but should Terry fancy heading down to the south coast there’s 11/4 on offer for a move to Bournemouth and 8/1 for Premier League new boys Brighton and Hove Albion.

It’s 3/1 that the 36-year-old goes Stateside and joins an MLS club, while it’s a 10/1 shot he opts for Dubai, where former Chelsea team-mate Dan Petrescu is currently in charge of Al Nasr.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The early money suggests JT could be heading for West Brom, however at this stage it’s hard to rule out a move to the MLS, or even the Middle East.”

It’s 10/1 Terry stays in London but crosses the river to join Crystal Palace, while Brendan Rodgers is 16/1 to persuade the Champions League winner north of the border to join Celtic.

West Ham and Newcastle United are also 16/1 shots, while a few might be tempted by the 33/1 on offer for Terry to reunite with former boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
