Wenger 10/1 to announce his Arsenal exit in Man City aftermath

Arsene Wenger is more likely to announce to the world that he’ll be staying on as Arsenal boss within 24 hours of the game against Manchester City finishing than he is to say he’s leaving.

It’s been widely reported that the Gunners boss will let fans know his decision after Sunday afternoon’s clash at the Emirates, and our traders make it a 6/1 shot for him to say he’ll be staying on as boss for the foreseeable future.

That’s bad news for the Wenger Out brigade, with 10/1 for the Frenchman to announce his decision to call time on his reign.

Defeat against City could see Arsenal fall some nine points off the pace in the race for a top-four finish. Were that to happen, it’s likely the number of fans calling for Wenger’s head will grow substantially.

However, victory for the Gunners would leave them just three points behind the leading quartet – with two games in hand over fourth-placed Liverpool – not to mention the fact that it would give the club a huge lift.
