The Masters: When? Where? Who’s the favourite? Find out here

Strap yourselves in for four scintillating days of golf action as The Masters returns to our screens this Thursday.

Plenty will be heading into the first major of the year confident of going all the way, but as things stand it’s world number one Dustin Johnson who heads to Augusta as the 6/1 favourite to claim his first Green Jacket.

But if you’re still undecided as to who to back this year, we’ve got you covered!

When does it start?

Things will get underway over in Augusta at roughly 08:00 their time – that’s 13:00 in the UK. But there’ll be plenty of build-up to get you in the mood over the coming days, as well as previews and updates on news.ladbrokes.com throughout the course of the tournament.

So make sure you keep checking back!

Where can I watch it?

Here’s where things get a little confusing.

UK viewers won’t actually be able to tune into proceedings until 19:00 every day.

The first half of the tournament will be broadcast exclusively by Sky Sports, while the BBC will have access to highlights.

The final two days will also be covered live by the Beeb as well as Sky Sports.

So where has the money gone so far?

It’ll come as no surprise to you to learn that Dustin Johnson is the most popular bet with punters. The 2016 PGA Player of the Year is the 13/2 favourite to add to his U.S Open success 10 months ago.

And as always, we’ve taken plenty on Rory McIlroy who’s an 8/1 shot for what would be his first Major success in three years.

A T10 finish here last year for Daniel Berger, has since been followed up with a T2 in last October’s HSBC Champions in China.

That means he must be heading into this event quietly confident of producing another top performance. He’s actually one of our biggest market movers of the last few months too, and has already seen his odds slashed almost in half from 125/1 to 66/1 following a number of large bets.

And where does last year’s winner stand in the betting?

A Jordan Speith collapse on the final day last year paved the way for Danny Willett to write his name into the history books (becoming just the second English golfer to win the prestigious trophy).

But our traders can’t see him retaining his title. They’ve made him a 125/1 shot for the second year running…

History suggests the Brit will struggle to replicate his form of last year though. Only Tiger Woods has won back-to-back Masters Tournaments in the last 26 years.

But he upset the applecart last time, and plenty have backed him to do the same again in 2017.
