Odds slashed on Man City and Tottenham exodus this summer

Published:

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur could be about to experience more pain following their Emirates FA Cup Semi-Final defeats.

That’s according to the latest odds at least, with the two clubs’ respective managers and star names in the firing line.

City midfielder Yaya Toure is one of the shortest to leave with the Ivorian now odds-on to find a new club this summer at 5/6.

Meanwhile, Argentine hitman Sergio Aguero is 11/8 to depart the Etihad Stadium while under-fire boss Pep Guardiola is just 7/2 to leave his post in the North-West.

Tottenham could also face a battle to keep hold of their big names with Kyle Walker in to 1/2 (from even-money) to be snapped up.

Danny Rose is a 9/4 shot to leave White Hart Lane with Harry Kane (5/1) and Dele Alli (6/1) also priced up for summer moves.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The losing sides in this weekend’s cup semi finals both look set for high profile departures this summer. As far as City are concerned, Toure already has one foot out of the door and a derby loss could see his manager follow him.”

He added: “Spurs will have an even bigger fight on their hands to retain Walker. Should be depart, the odds of Rose following suit could well shorten too.”
