Neymar, Lukaku and Belotti all linked with Man United move

Depending on which newspaper or online article you read this morning, Manchester United are ready to sign any one of a number of Europe’s top strikers. So, here’s a wrap-up.

First up is Neymar, with the Daily Star claiming that Man United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to stump up the monumental £173m release clause to land the Barcelona superstar.

Plus, reports from Spain claim the Brazilian forward wants to move to somewhere he can become the main man, as he currently vies for that honour with Lionel Messi.

And with Barca also needing a replacement for departing boss Luis Enrique, a summer of change is on the horizon for the Catalan giants.

But perhaps a far more realistic alternative is Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

Having been closing in on a new five-year-deal, the Belgian has refused to sign the new agreement, and it’s widely believed that he will now leave the Goodison Park outfit in the near future.

The Manchester Evening News say United are looking to move in on the 23-year-old, who is roaring towards this season’s Premier League Golden Boot award.

Chelsea remain in contention to re-sign their former striker, but it seems unlikely that Lukaku will return to Stamford Bridge while Diego Costa remains at the club.

Finally, Andrea Belotti has again been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The Torino star took his Serie A tally to a staggering 24 goals at the weekend, and has been regularly linked with a switch to England in recent months.

Like Lukaku, the Italian hotshot is only 23, but his current Torino deal includes a sizeable £86m release fee.
