Just two points separate five players between second and sixth in the Darts Premier League table as we head into the final stages of what has been the most entertaining campaign in years.

Michael van Gerwen has bowled through the season to this point, now comfortably sitting in first-place, and he’d love to extend that gap at the top this week in Belfast.

To do that, he’ll have to beat fellow Dutchman, Raymond van Barneveld and hope that James Wade can take points from Peter Wright. And the front two feature in this week’s 14/1 five-fold.

Adrian Lewis and Dave Chisnall will kick things off, and the latter has been struggling for form of late, and is without a win in his last five outings.

That means Jackpot is a great price at 4/5 to win this one, and he’s included in our acca.

Phil Taylor meets Gary Anderson in the second fixture of the evening, with just one point separating the pair. And with that in mind, we’re steering clear of picking a winner.

Nevertheless, we have spotted some value in another market for this match. In fact, it might just our bet of the night.

Not everyone will fancy The Flying Scotsman to come out on top against The Power, but plenty will back him to throw maximums for fun. In their last meeting, the two-time world champ managed a staggering eight 180s, meaning there’s certainly value in the 4/6 on him hitting three or more this time out.

Peter Wright has enjoyed a fairly solid campaign thus far, but he knows he still has a lot to do if he’s to secure second place in the table.

And this week he’ll come up against a man who just loves to push the leading players on the circuit all the way. James Wade has already taken points from Taylor (twice), Anderson and Lewis this year.

But we still reckon Snakebite has enough about him to shrug The Machine off – not as easily as our traders think, though. They make Wright a 1/2 shot to win, but we’re more interested in the length of this game.

The last time this pair met, the match finished 7-5 in the Scot’s favour. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar scoreline so we’re leaning towards the 4/6 on over 10.5 legs being played.

Moving on to the game of the night…

Will it be repeat or revenge as MVG meets RVB?

Barney has lost two of his last three fixtures, while Van Gerwen will be looking to bridge a gap at the top of the table.

Plus, it’s not often the world number one gets beaten two times in as many outings against the same player.

Don’t expect that to change in Belfast – side with the odds and bump up your returns by backing a win for Mighty Mike.

This will be the pair’s second game of the night, and we’re already anticipated Chisnall to lose while Taylor will have it all to do if he’s to take anything from Anderson.

But what will happen when the two players meet each other?

Well, the history books tell us the value is in backing The Power to win comfortably. He’s come out on top in 23 of his previous 31 games with Chizzy, with his most recent victory coming on the opening night of the Premier League.

He won 7-3 back then, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him win by a similar margin here, so we’re throwing in a Taylor victory at 10/11 to round off our 14/1 acca.

Here’s a reminder of our Premier League Acca selections…

Adrian Lewis to beat Dave Chisnall

Gary Anderson to throw over 3.5 180s v Phil Taylor

Peter Wright v James Wade – Over 10.5 legs

Michael van Gerwen to beat Raymond van Barneveld

Phil Taylor to beat Dave Chisnall
