Monaco v Dortmund: Hosts over-priced to prevail in another goal-fest

It promised to be the most entertaining game of the first leg, and Monaco’s 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund proved just that. Now we expect more of the same in the second encounter.
Both sides won their domestic fixtures at the weekend, but it’s Dortmund who go into this clash as 6/5 favourites.
Despite returning to home soil, our traders have left Monaco out at 19/10, and for the life us, we aren’t sure why.
For starters, the French outfit have lost just four of their last 44 home games. And those defeats have come against quality opposition such as Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon.
Secondly, they’ve scored 117 times in that period. That’s an average of 2.6 goals per game over a two-and-a-half-year spell.
Thirdly, BvB have failed to win six of their last eight away games.
So excuse us for a being a little perplexed over this one.
Monaco are 3/10 to qualify, with their German opponents 9/4 to overturn the first-leg defeat and make it through to the semi-finals.
With both teams scoring in 10 of Monaco’s last 13 games and six of Dortmund’s last 10, it’s 1/3 we see each keeper beaten at the Stade Louis II.
And backing a home win with both goalkeepers beaten looks good at 3/1.
It tells you everything that over 3.5 goals is odds-on at 10/11.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the first goalscorer brigade at 7/2, but again, we think Monaco are the value.
Radamel Falcao bagged the winner in their weekend clash with Dijon, and the former Atletico Madrid ace is 9/2 to break the deadlock.
But teenage wonderkid Kylian Mbappe is sure to be popular with punters, and 6/1 says the man tipped as the new Thierry Henry makes it 1-0 to the hosts.
The 18-year-old did just that last week, before netting a second later on, and you can get 9/1 on the hotshot bagging a brace once more.
