Man United v Chelsea: Back the Blues to complete season sweep

Manchester United are drinking in the last chance saloon with regards to their flagging top-four hopes. And new sheriffs Chelsea can put paid to any faint remaining league ambitions the Red Devils harbour this Easter Sunday.

You have to go back five years and 12 meetings in all competitions for United’s last success against the Blues.

And given that statistic, coupled with Antonio Conte’s side’s dominance this season, it’s perhaps a little surprising that Jose Mourinho’s men are the narrow 7/4 favourites with Chelsea 9/5 and the draw priced at 21/10.

The visitors have already humbled the Old Trafford outfit twice this season across league and cup.

It’s an eye-watering 80/1 for a repeat of the 4-0 hammering we saw earlier this term or 7/1 for the more sensible prediction of a 1-0 Chelsea win, just as it ended in last month’s Emirates FA Cup encounter.

PFA Player of the Year favourite N’Golo Kante settled matters on that occasion and we’re offering 40/1 for the France international to open the scoring again.

However, with three goals in his last two games and 17 for club and country so far this season it’d be silly not to look at Eden Hazard too.

We’re putting up 4/1 for Hazard to score in a Chelsea win with 3/1 available for Diego Costa to net in an away success.

For the hosts, main man Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the obvious pick in the goalscorer markets with 7/5 on offer for the Swede to score at any time.

While that’s very plausible, we can’t see past the Blues and the 10/11 for Chelsea in the Draw No Bet market offers up some of the best value.
