Have Tottenham agreed £12m move for Galatasaray ace?

According to the latest reports, Tottenham have agreed a deal to bring Galatasaray star Bruma to White Hart Lane.
But it’s not quite so straightforward, as the Turkish giants have denied the claims.
Releasing a statement on their website, the club said: “There is no official offer to reach us, just as there is no secret agreement for the price of the club that has been named.”
So while confusion reigns over whether or not a deal has been done, the stats show that Bruma is enjoying a fine season.
The 22-year-old winger, signed by Galatasaray from Sporting Lisbon for £9m in 2013, has scored eight times in this season’s Super Lig, in addition to producing six assists.
But his contract is up next summer, which goes a long way to explaining the speculation over his future.
Born in Guinea-Bissau, Bruma came through the youth ranks at Sporting, and has played for Portugal at every level from U15 to U21.
His breakthrough campaign came in the 2012-2013 season, where he set-up four assists and scored once from 13 Primeira Liga appearances.
And it was those performances which saw Galatasaray fork out nearly £10m for the then-19-year-old that summer.
The Turkish giants have gently eased Bruma into first-team action in the years since, while the winger also enjoyed a season-long loan at Real Sociedad, briefly playing under David Moyes.
He scored only twice during his year in San Sebastian, but his performances this season are the reason why Tottenham are so heavily linked.
As they continue to chase down Chelsea in the Premier League, Spurs look assured of Champions League football next term.
It’s widely agreed that boss Mauricio Pochettino will head to the transfer market this summer to make the White Hart Lane outfit a force in both domestic and European competition, and Bruma is one such potential option.
