Fitzpatrick and Walker among five lively Masters long shots

We’re just a few days away from the US Masters at Augusta, so that means it’s time to pick out a few lively long shots.
And with rain forecast for the weekend, that should help level the playing field a touch.
Here’s who we reckon are worth backing at big, big odds…
Matthew Fitzpatrick @ 66/1
The Englishman was seventh in the Masters last year, and is bang in-form to improve on that this time around.
That result 12 months ago lead to a pair of victories on the European Tour, and the 22-year-old has already carded a T5 at the Dubai Desert Classic and T16 in the WGC Mexico.
Tommy Fleetwood @ 66/1
After winning the Johnie Walker Championship in 2013, Tommy Fleetwood has endured a quiet couple of years.
But now the Englishman is arguably in better form than ever.
Fleetwood bagged his second European Tour success in Abu Dhabi in January, and followed that up with a second place finish at the WGC Mexico.
Jimmy Walker @ 80/1
For the reigning PGA Championship winner to be such a long price is reason enough to back Jimmy Walker.
But the American has a decent Masters pedigree too, coming eighth just three years ago and has already posted several good results in 2017.
Plus, if the weather does take a turn, then the 38-year-old should be in good shape to combat the conditions, as he did in last year’s PGA Championship.
Byeong-Hun An @ 125/1
If you’re looking for a long shot who is almost guaranteed to make it through to Saturday and Sunday, then Byeong-Hun An is your man.
The South Korean has made nine cuts from nine events on the PGA Tour, including a fine sixth at the Phoenix Open in February.
What’s more, the 25-year-old flew through that weekend, posting two 66s and a 65, so hopefully he can bring that form to Augusta, while his game shouldn’t be too affected by the weather.
Bernd Wiesberger @ 150/1
Austrian Bernd Wiesberger has secured a T22 and T38 at Augusta in the last two years, and is well-poised to have a good shot at breaking into the top 20.
The 31-year-old posted a fourth in the Abu Dhabi Championship in January, before coming third in the Maybank Championship.
A T17 last time out in the WGC Match Play was the latest confirmation that Wiesberger is in fine fettle.
