Chelsea 5/2 favourites to sign Wilfried Zaha – Tottenham 4/1

Wilfried Zaha’s best season yet reached new heights at the weekend, as the Crystal Palace winger both scored and assisted in the Eagles’ shock 2-1 win over Chelsea. And the latest odds make the Blues favourites to sign the in-form star.
The Stamford Bridge outfit are 5/2 favourites to land the man who ensured they lost for only the fourth time this season.
Tottenham, who had a £12m bid for the former Manchester United man rejected last summer, are 4/1 to make a successful deal this time around.
But they’re behind Manchester City in the betting, with our traders going 7/2 that Zaha joins Pep Guardiola’s side.
The 24-year-old has bagged six goals in addition to nine assists this time, and his performances have attracted so much demand that Palace are rumoured to be hurrying together a new contract.
The winger’s current deal at Selhurst Park doesn’t expire until 2020, but it has been reported that Palace are willing to make Zaha the best paid player at the club – exceeding Christian Benteke’s £110k deal.
And with a valuation of just £10m by transfermarkt.co.uk, Palace may also be fearful of selling their prized asset for less than he may now be worth.
Other names in the frame for Zaha’s signature include Arsenal, but at 6/1 the Gunners are only fourth in the betting.
It’s 8/1 the Ivory Coast international heads to Everton, with Southampton and West Ham the outsiders at 12/1 and 16/1 respectively.
For now, the winger will be hoping to guide Palace to a fifth-straight league win this weekend, when the Eagles head to St Mary’s.
