Alli, Rose and Walker all priced up for Tottenham Hotspur exits

News coming from our trading floor this morning is that Tottenham Hotspur could make a huge move in the transfer market when the window opens in the summer – with Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez just 3/1 to move across North London.
But while that would undoubtedly be the biggest switch in recent Premier League years, Spurs may be about to lose three huge names of their own.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Pep Guardiola will seek to add Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Dele Alli to his ranks at Manchester City in preparation for a title push next season.
Of course, that would be a huge blow to Tottenham’s chances next season were that trio to leave, and our traders have made it a 20/1 shot for all three players to head from London to Manchester.
As unlikely as that may seem, it’s not to say we can’t see any of them being tempted to join the Citizens.
With Guardiola’s current full-backs being aged 31 or older it’s fair to say he’s going to have to start looking for younger replacements as soon as possible.
And the fact that Rose and Walker have spent the last four seasons playing week-in, week-out on either flank may be enough to tempt Pep into breaking the bank for the pair.
Meanwhile, if Spurs are to have any chance of establishing themselves as genuine title challengers for years to come, they have to build their team around Dele Alli.
It’s something they couldn’t do with Gareth Bale or Luka Modric and the White Hart Lane outfit suffered in the following seasons as a result.
Granted, in the case of Bale and Modric, they wanted to leave to join Real Madrid – and Spurs had nothing to offer them at the time.
That’s not the case now though, and Mauricio Pochettino has no reason to sell his best players.
The fact that Alli signed a new contract as recent as seven months ago means a summer switch is unlikely – although a lot may depend on where Spurs find themselves come the end of this season.
Our traders remain unsure where the former MK Dons midfielder will go next, and they make City a 3/1 shot to sign the 20-year-old.
