Real Madrid odds-on favourites to sign Chelsea ace Eden Hazard

He’s a contender for this season’s Premier League Player of the Year, but Chelsea are facing increasing pressure to keep hold of Eden Hazard this summer. And our traders make Madrid the Belgian’s most likely destination.

Reports continue to link the forward with a move to Real Madrid, and this weekend’s press are claiming the Blues are preparing a new contract in a bid to ward off interest.

Hazard has bagged 11 goals in this season’s Premier League in addition to four assists as the west London outfit canter towards the league title.

But his impressive performances are attracting plenty of interest across the continent.

Real are the 8/11 favourites to land Hazard’s signature, ahead of French giants Paris Saint-Germain at 4/1.

Those two European heavyweights dominate the market, with the odds ballooning to Juventus and Bayern Munich, who are each a 10/1 shot to sign the 26-year-old.

A move to join international team-mate Marouane Fellaini at Manchester United is a 12/1 chance, as is a switch to team-up with Lionel Messi and Neymar at Barcelona.

At 14/1, our traders don’t fancy Hazard to join Pep Guardiola’s revolution at Manchester City, with 16/1 saying the Belgian takes a mega-money move to China.

Valued at a shade under £60m by transfermarkt.co.uk, Hazard has a contract with Chelsea until 2020.

It all means that any potential buyer is going to require at least £75m-80m to tempt the Blues to part ways with their star forward. But that shouldn’t be a problem for the clubs Hazard is being linked with.
