Odds make Man United favourites to sign Inter ace Perisic

Old rivals Manchester United and Liverpool look primed for a transfer war this summer, over Inter Milan ace Ivan Perisic.

Liverpool have been linked with the forward in recent months, and boss Jurgen Klopp previously signed the Croatian when at Borussia Dortmund.

But the weekend’s press claim Jose Mourinho is ready to muscle in on Klopp’s plans, and attempt to bring Perisic to Manchester United.

And our traders reckon the Special One might pull it off too, with Red Devils new favourites at 7/4 to sign the 28-year-old.

Liverpool have been pushed out to 5/2, with Chelsea next up at 4/1.

It’s 6/1 Perisic makes a tense switch to local rivals AC Milan, while Roma are an 8/1 shot.

The winger has shone for I Nerazzurri this term, bagging nine goals in addition to six assists in Serie A.

But Inter have again been found wanting, and are 18 points behind leaders and rivals Juventus.

They also sit eight points off third-placed Napoli, meaning they’re unlikely to play Champions League football next season.

Valued at just over £21m by transfermarkt.co.uk, it’s been reported that Perisic could be available for £30m.
