Leicester, West Brom and Brighton lead our weekend five-fold

Published:

We are storming into the business end of the season now, but as we count down the remaining weeks there’s still plenty more opportunities to land a weekend acca win.

The Ladbrokes News team – with a little help from our friends in Social Media – are back with another five-fold to get stuck into.

We’re sticking with the top two-tiers this weekend, so lets crack on…

Richard Marsh

West Brom to beat Crystal Palace

I’m not sure why West Brom are above Evens here, but I’ll take it. The Baggies are unbeaten in their last five league games, and their only home defeats this season have come to sides who sit in the top seven.

Couple that with Crystal Palace failing to win nine of their last 10 away games, and I’m backing a home win at the Hawthorns.

William Geldart

Swansea to beat Burnley

Burnley may have shared the spoils against Hull last time out but they were a tad fortunate to pick up what was just their second point on the road all season.

Winning games at the Liberty Stadium will be vital for Swansea if they’re to avoid relegation and the recent signs have been good for Paul Clement’s side.

They’ve bested Southampton and Leicester City in their last two home games and they can bring up the hat-trick this weekend.

Dave Burin

Brighton to beat Nottingham Forest

Brighton will feel hard done by after last week’s loss to Newcastle, but Chris Hughton will galvanise the Seagulls and I reckon they’ll  bounce back.

This is the perfect time for Brighton to reassert themselves in the top two, and knowing that at least one of Newcastle and Huddersfield will drop points,  Hughton’s boys can see off a sinking Nottingham Forest.

Alex Apati

Leicester City to beat Hull City

Hello, Leicester City. Welcome to the 2017-18 campaign, it’s nice of you to join us!

This is the second home game in a row for the Foxes, and after the win over Liverpool on Monday it’s safe to say the King Power will be bouncing – new manger or no new manager.

I also think Hull may have found some good form a tad too early. Yes, Marco Silva has worked wonders since taking over, but the Tigers are still very much in a relegation scrap.

Joe Whiteley – Ladbrokes Social Media

Reading to beat Wolves

Since their FA Cup exploits against Liverpool, Wolves have had a pretty torrid time of it in the Championship, losing their last four league games in a row, including a home defeat to local rivals Birmingham.

And, while Reading have lost their last two – to promotion chasing Huddersfield and Brighton – this presents an ideal opportunity to get three points over a struggling side and close the gap on the automatic spots.

So, there you have it. Our five-fold acca comes in at 36/1!

If you fancy it, you can back it right here.
