Ladbrokes Players Championship: Murphy and Higgins boosted to win
The top quality action continues at the Ladbrokes Players Championship, and this afternoon’s draw sees world champions Shaun Murphy and John Higgins take to the baize.
We’ve already seen plenty of thrilling snooker in Llandudno, with Mark Selby edging a nervy encounter with Ryan Day 5-4 yesterday.
There were no such problems for Marco Fu however, who confidently saw off Anthony McGill 5-1.
Attention now turns to Wednesday’s line-up, where Murphy faces Ali Carter and Higgins takes on Ding Junhui in what could be a thrilling encounter.
And the two former world champs feature in our Headline Double.
Higgins and Murphy both to win @ 15/8
And we fancy the pair of afternoon contests will whet the appetite nicely for a thrilling evening clash between Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump.
