Inverness CT v Celtic: Back Bhoys to hammer Highland outfit again

Published:

They may have taken a point against Celtic back in September, but the chances of Inverness Caledonian Thistle getting anything from the Hoops tonight looks extremely unlikely – especially with the sensational form that Moussa Dembele is in.

The Hoops have won each of their last 21 Ladbrokes Premiership games, and hammered the Highland outfit 6-0 in the Scottish Cup in early February.

That means the 1/4 for a Celtic victory looks the best call in the match betting, with Inverness 11/1 to end the Hoops’ unbeaten dream, and 19/4 for the draw.

However, with understandably modest gains on offer for Brendan Rodgers’ side to simply win, there looks to be better value in other markets.

In the handicap betting, Celtic -1 at 8/11 looks to be something of a banker, with the Glasgow giants having won each of their last four games by at least a two-goal margin.

Meanwhile, the 4/5 for Half Time/Full Time: Celtic/Celtic is proving popular, with the Hoops having led at the break and gone on to win in five of the last six matches.

However, your best hopes could well lie with Moussa Dembele, with the fantastic Frenchman having netted nine (yes, nine!) goals in his last four games.

As part of our fantastic price boosts, he’s 11/4 (from 2/1) to net anytime, but it’s the 8/1 for him to get a hat-trick which we think is the best bet anywhere for this game. After all, the 20-year-old has netted a hat-trick in two of his last four outings, including that cup clash with the Caley Jags.

However, if you are looking to back the hosts, you could do worse than getting on the 10/3 for Billy McKay to score anytime, following two goals in four outings since his return on loan from Wigan Athletic.

And you can take advantage of our Headline Boosts, available from 08:00 on Wednesday 1 March:

Moussa Dembele to score two or more goals WAS 2/1 NOW 11/4.
