Georgie Bingham’s backing Man City and John Stones for Cup joy

Published:

It’s Emirates FA Cup fever this weekend with the Quarter-Finals taking centre stage, and talkSPORT duo Georgie Bingham and Tony Cascarino want a piece of the action.

Both Bingham and Cas’ are focusing their charity bets this weekend on the opening clash of the last eight, where Middlesbrough host Manchester City.

And the duo could do with making up for last weekend, where Arsenal failed to come good for Georgie, and the lack of an Adam Lallana goal cost Tony.

So, what are they going for this time around?

Georgie Bingham

Man City to beat Middlesbrough John Stones to score @ 11/1

He’s already bagged one goal in the Emirates FA Cup this season, and Bingham is backing John Stones to net again.

Middlesbrough have kept things relatively tight at the back, so City may well be limited to set-piece chances.

And that’s just the sort of situation where Stones can get on the scoresheet for the third time since the turn of the year.

We’ll be giving Georgie’s potential winnings away to Cure for Dylan.

Tony Cascarino

Manchester City to beat Middlesbrough and David Silva to score @ 3/1

Cas is playing things a little safer, and looking to Spanish wizard David Silva.

If a piece of Cup magic is what’s required to win this tie, then who else but City’s creative lynchpin?

And should Silva stear City to the semi-finals, all winnings will be paid to Tony’s chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.

So who’ll come out on top here? Are you Team Cascarino or Team Bingham?
