Rose to Man City and Shaw to Tottenham? We’ve priced up both

With the end of the season on the horizon, the press are getting all excited about this summer’s potential transfers. And truth be told, so are we.

The Premier League’s big six are all looking to steal a march and we can expect a bumper off-season of activity, starting with Luke Shaw and Danny Rose.

For Shaw, a move seems inevitable with his Manchester United career in tatters under Jose Mourinho.

The former Southampton ace is out of contract next summer too, so the Red Devils may well cash in this time around.

And that also offers any potential buyers the chance of a cut price deal on a defender Man United paid £30m for in 2014.

The latest reports suggest Tottenham could be that buyer, thanks to speculation regarding their current left-back.

Danny Rose has emerged into one of the Premier League’s finest in that position, and now it’s believed his performances have drawn the attention of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

It’s not hard to envisage Rose’s pace and energy along the left-flank settling in nicely under Pep’s stewardship, so it could be a case of one in-one out for Tottenham this summer.

Our traders have gone 8/1 on the England international making the move to the Etihad, while 6s says Shaw makes the opposite journey down the M6 this summer.

In the meantime, both Spurs and City will be focusing on league action this weekend.

The Citizens face David Moyes’ Sunderland in Sunday’s late-kick off, after Tottenham have done their best to fend off in-form Everton in the 13:30 fixture.
