Crolla v Linares II: How Twitter is calling Saturday’s big rematch
Published:Six months ago, Anthony Crolla headed into the ring with Jorge Linares as the 8/11 favourite to add his name to the ever-growing list of boxing greats. On home soil in his hometown, for the fourth bout in a row, the Mancunian had the chance to put this one to bed.
His opponent had other plans though, winning by unanimous decision to be crowned WBA world lightweight champion.
Eddie Hearn said on the night there’d be a rematch, and here we are, six months down the line, preparing for Part II.
