It was a tricky start for punters looking to cash in at this year’s Cheltenham Festival. But don’t panic. With three quarters left to go there’s still plenty of time to bash the bookies.

Today’s Lucky 15 aims to do just that with our four selections each holding strong claims ahead of the action.

Neptune Novices’ Hurdle favourite Neon Wolf can get us off to a cracking start in the first while Nicky Henderson, who enjoyed a cracking opening day, has a lively chance in the next race.

RSA Chase hopeful Whisper knows a thing or two about how to win at Prestbury Park, with his game Dipper Novices’ Chase victory here showcasing his heart and will to win.

Divin Bere is another well-backed contender from Seven Barrows. His Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle claims are further underpinned by his beating of the progressive Adonis Hurdle winner Master Blueyes.

And finally, while Willie Mullins is very much a man to fear in the Champion Bumper, we’ve gone elsewhere.

The Warren Greatrex-trained Western Ryder has come in for some serious money in the past week or so and he can build-upon his second at Newbury when conceding weight to talented absentee, Daphne Du Clos.

Here are our Lucky 15 selections:

1. Neon Wolf (13:30)

2. Whisper (14:10)

3. Divin Bere (16:50)

4. Western Ryder (17:30)
