Cheltenham Day 1 Lucky 15: Andy and Foxtail kick-off big punt

With over £150m set to be wagered across this year’s Cheltenham Festival, what better way to start your punting odyssey than with a winning Lucky 15?

That’s what we’re hoping for here, anyway – with our Prestbury Park opener promising rich returns should all four selections romp home up the famous hill.

Ballyandy gets us underway in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle with Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge primed for more glory on the biggest stage having won the Champion Bumper last season.

Brain Power is still available at a decent price to take a wide-open Champion Hurdle renewal.

His win in the Wessex Youth Trust Handicap Hurdle before Christmas was mightily impressive and the signs are there that he can step up again.

Meanwhile, our NAP of the day, Limini, was an eye-catching winner of the Quevega Mares Hurdle last time out and we’re keeping the faith ahead of her Mares’ Hurdle bid.

And finally, we’re backing Twiston-Davies to land a thrilling opening day double and finish the Tuesday on a high with Foxtail Hill in the Close Brothers Novices’ Handicap Chase.

The talented eight-year-old took his record to three from eight over fences when seeing off some smart opposition at Cheltenham back in January. And a follow-up victory to bring up the hat-trick is well within his grasp.

Here are our Lucky 15 selections:

1. Ballyandy (13:30)

2. Brain Power (15:30)

3. Limini (16:10)

4. Foxtail Hill (17:30)
