Back the Home Nations to win in our 37/1 five-fold

Sunday’s World Cup qualifying action is a big one as far as the Home Nations are concerned, with each of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland in action. But we’ve done the research, and fancy all three to come good.
In the process, the trio would go a long way to ensuring our 37/1 five-fold is a success.
So, here’s what we fancy for Sunday’s qualifiers…
England to beat Lithuania -2 @ Evens
There’s no value in backing England at 1/9, but given they’ve beaten Lithuania 3-0 and 4-0 in recent years, -2 looks excellent at Evens.
The Three Lions showed promising signs in the friendly match with Germany, and we can expect Gareth Southgate’s men to build on that here.
Germany to beat Azerbaijan -2 @ 10/11
Lukas Podolski’s stunner to beat England in midweek was the latest reminder of Germany’s quality. Podolski may have retired, but Azerbaijan must still deal with Thomas Muller, Andre Schurrle and Mario Gomez.
Plus, boss Joachim Loew has made clear that Germany’s ruthless aim is to secure qualification as quickly as possible. They haven’t conceded since bowing out of the Euros last summer, and have already scored 16 times in qualifying.
Northern Ireland to beat Norway @ 11/8
With Northern Ireland having lost just twice in 14 home games – stretching back three-and-a-half years – they’re always good value at Windsor Park.
Plus, Norway have been woeful of late. They’re only win in their last six has come versus San Marino, while they’ve failed to win each of their last seven on the road.
Poland to beat Montenegro @ 17/20
Poland slipped up with a surprise draw away at Kazakhstan, but victory against Montenegro would put them in a dominant position in Group E.
Montenegro have won three of their last eight home wins, but with those coming against Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein and Moldova, you’ve got to fancy the visitors to collect three points.
Scotland to beat Slovenia @ 13/10
The fact that Scotland really must win this game to keep their hopes alive, should be enough to see them do the business.
Slovenia have been steady but unspectacular in qualifying, and they haven’t exactly shone on the road, drawing with Lithuania while only beating Malta 1-0.
