The Europa League draw has thrown up a raft of enticing ties, but it’s Manchester United who are now firm favourites to lift the trophy, after being drawn against Russian outfit FC Rostov.

Jose Mourinho’s men swept aside Saint-Etienne by a 4-0 aggregate margin, and with a seemingly favourable tie against inexperienced opposition, they’re now just 15/8 to lift the trophy.

Meanwhile, Gent – who bested Tottenham in the round of 32 – face Genk in an all-Belgian clash, after the latter edged past Romanian outfit Astra Giurgiu by a 3-2 aggregate margin.

And there’s another national clash in the last 16, as 1997 winners Schalke 04 face two-time champions Borussia Monchengladbach.

Lyon, who hammered AZ Alkmaar by an 11-2 scoreline over two legs, are now one-half of what looks to be the tie of the round, as they face off against Roma, who are 6/1 second-favourites to win the tournament.

Celta Vigo, the only remaining Spanish side involved face FC Krasnodar of Russia, with the La Liga outfit having Iago Aspas to thank for their recent good form in this competition.

Elsewhere, APOEL Nicosia are up against the only other Belgian representatives, Anderlecht, who have already bested the likes of Zenit St Petersburg and Mainz 05 this term.

Olympiacos are up against Besiktas, while FC Kobenhavn will be looking to overcome an Ajax side who have won seven of their last eight games in all competitions.
