Premier League odds reaction: Chelsea, Ranieri and Lukaku latest

Chelsea are now 1/10 favourites to win this season’s Premier League, while the latest odds show how much trouble reigning champions Leicester City and Claudio Ranieri are in.
The Blues swept Arsenal aside 3-1 on Saturday, and now it’s surely a matter of when Antonio Conte’s men win the league, rather than if.
And that defeat for the Gunners has left Arsene Wenger’s charges all but out of the title race at 50/1.
Liverpool fans will be in a similarly dour mood this morning, with the Reds also out at 50s after a 2-0 loss away at Hull.
Victory for the Tigers means they’re now just a point away from safety, which is bad news for Leicester.
With Sunderland thumping Crystal Palace 4-0, the Foxes are just two points from bottom after failing to put up a show in a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.
The Foxes are now just 9/4 to be relegated – and they would be the first reigning champions since Manchester City in 1938 to go down as reigning champions.
And it doesn’t look good for boss Claudio Ranieri either, with the Italian now 7/4 favourite to be the next Premier League manager given the boot.
Elsewhere at the bottom, Crystal Palace – Evens – and Middlesbrough – 13/10 – are now both shorter to go down than 13/8 shots Swansea, after the Welsh outfit’s impressive performance against Man City.
But all of that is of no concern to Romelu Lukaku, who thrust himself into Golden Boot contention with a four-goal haul in Everton’s 6-3 win over Bournemouth.
The Belgian is now 7/2 to outscore everyone else this season, and currently leads the race with 16 goals.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “While Chelsea serenely sauntered on in the title race, it was a disastrous weekend for Arsenal and Liverpool.
“And things are getting mighty tight at the bottom, with Hull and Sunderland continuing their recent revivals – and that spells very bad news for reigning champions Leicester.”
