Odds slashed again on Corbyn to be replaced as Labour leader

Jeremy Corbyn - Next Labour Leader odds

Jeremy Corbyn is being backed yet again to be axed as leader of the Labour Party this year following another flurry of bets.

With Corbyn failing to sack his frontbench Brexit rebels, political punters have continuously piled into the odds of him leaving, and it’s now an 11/8 shot (from 6/4) he’s replaced before the end of 2017.

In recent days Clive Lewis has emerged as the new favourite to be the next permanent leader with odds of 5/1, followed closely by Keir Starmer at 6/1.

Thereafter, we’re offering double figure prices for the likes of Dan Jarvis (12/1), Rebecca Long-Bailey (12/1) and Lisa Nandy (16/1).

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Money talks, and political punters are becoming increasingly convinced Corbyn’s going to be replaced sooner rather than later.”
