Man City & Chelsea on alert as Aubameyang drops huge transfer hint

Published:

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is going to be a wanted man this summer, and the Borussia Dortmund’s latest comments will only further entice his admirers.

The Gabon international told French station Radio RMC: “I am asking myself the question, if I want to take the next step, should I not leave?

“Real Madrid is still a dream, but there has been too much noise. I have an important choice to make. Many people would like to see me in England.”

The 27-year-old’s comments will be music to the ears of chairmen across the Premier League’s big-hitters, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea widely viewed as the most likely suitors.

And of course we can be sure that Real Madrid will come calling with a big offer in the summer, now the shackles are fully off following their transfer embargo.

But the concern for Los Blancos and the Premier League trio is of course, a bid from the Chinese Super League.

Reports have filtered in throughout the early weeks of 2017, that Dortmund and the CSL were coming close to a monumental £100m fee.

And should those reports prove to have any truth to them, that may end things for the European heavyweights.

Would Man United splash out another world record bid for the second year in succession? Would Chelsea commit to such a fee while rebuilding Stamford Bridge?

And surely Pep Guardiola would rather spent such an amount on players he has a greater relationship with, such as Lionel Messi?

But that’s all to be decided and discussed further down the line, what the striker’s latest comments do tell us though, is that Aubameyang is seriously considering an exit from BvB this summer.
