Donald Trump just 7/2 to be replaced as US President in 2017

He may be not even a fortnight into his role as the 45th President of the United States, and our odds suggest Donald Trump might not last the year in the Oval Office.

The businessman’s Presidency has been riddled with controversy thus far, and it’s just 7/2 that Trump is replaced in the White House before 2017 is over.

Meanwhile it’s just 11/10 that Trump leaves his post via impeachment or resignation during his first term, and that price has shortened into Evens in recent weeks.

He may be just days into his first term, but a series of polls by Gallup.com have Trump’s approval rating at 45 per cent, lower than any other President at this stage of their rule.

Having been formally invited to the UK by Prime Minister Theresa May, we make it odds-on at 2/7 that President Trump arrives on British shores this year.

And it’s 5/4 that the 70-year-old heads to Russia before the year is out.

Meanwhile in the UK, it’s 2/1 that May calls a General Election this year, as the fallout from the EU Referendum and Article 50 continues to rumble on.

Even money says a national election is held by 2020.

It’s not beyond reason that nations on both sides of the Atlantic could be looking for new leaders by Christmas, with May just 5/2 to be replaced this year.
