Ben Stokes just even-money to hit a six on his IPL debut

England all-rounder Ben Stokes made history last night when becoming the most expensive foreign player in the Indian Premier League.

And having been picked up at auction for a cool £1.7m by the Rising Pune Supergiants we’ve reacted by pricing up a number of specials around how Stokes will perform for his new team.

It’s an even-money shot that Stokes hits a six on his IPL debut with 7/2 on offer for the 25-year-old to score a 50 in his first game.

Elsewhere, Stokes is 4/1 to be the Top Pune Wicket-Taker on his maiden outing with 10/1 for him to pick up the Man of the Match award.

This year’s eight-team IPL tournament will take place between Wednesday April 5 and Sunday May 21 with all eyes set to be on its expensive new import.
