Arsene Wenger is now odds-on to leave Arsenal this summer

Published:

Arsene Wenger is now 5/6 to not be in charge of Arsenal at the start of next season, according to the latest odds.

After the 5-1 hammering at Bayern Munich, the club have stated that a decision will be made on the Frenchman’s future at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, it’s now just 4/5 that the Gunners fail to land a top-four spot in the Premier League, while 7/2 says star men Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez both quit the Emirates this summer.

We’re also offering 25/1 that Wenger makes an appearance on Arsenal Fan TV this season, while 50/1 says he quits in the days following a shock Emirates FA Cup loss to Sutton United.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Arsenal’s implosion last night could be the death knell for Wenger’s reign in north London, and the Gunners are now odds-on to miss out on the top-four.”

Max Allegri leads the betting to be Wenger’s successor at 4/1, with Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel alongside Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe at 13/2.

Monaco manager Leonardi Jardim is 8/1 to swap the French Riviera for London, with Newcastle United’s Rafa Benitez also in contention at 10s.
