Tottenham full-back duo 10/1 for double Man United switch

Published:

Manchester United could pull off a sensational swoop for Tottenham’s defensive duo Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, with the bookies offering 10/1 for the pair to rock up at Old Trafford by next summer.

The duo have continued to impress at White Hart Lane this season, with left-back Rose a regular source of goals and assists, while the robust and pacy Walker is one of the league’s most consistent performers, on the opposite flank.

Unsurprisingly, there’s no shortage of potential suitors for either player, with United 9/4 favourites for Walker, and Manchester City hot on their heels at 7/2, while Chelsea and Liverpool are both priced up at 10s.

Meanwhile, it’s the Citizens who are actually favourites for Rose’s signature at 7/4, with the Red Devils next in the betting at 5/2.

But wherever the destination, there could well be woe on the horizon for Spurs fans very soon, with 5/1 on offer for the duo to both leave White Hart Lane this month.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Things could soon look very Rose-y for Man United fans, with the Red Devils primed to bring in defensive talent and weaken a top-four rival in the process.”

Next up for Man United is the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final against Hull City.

It’s 1/6 for Jose Mourinho’s men to record a ninth successive victory, while 4/7 says they win to nil for the third game in a row.
