Roger Federer 9/2 to claim another Slam this season after Australia success

After reminding us all that he’s still very much got it with a stunning performance to win the Australian Open this weekend, Roger Federer certainly isn’t done yet.
The Swiss maestro defeated old foe Rafael Nadal in five enthralling sets to land an 18th Slam title, in a battle that took us all back to the pair’s heyday of almost a decade ago.
It was a remarkable story involving two men who have both battled injuries in recent years, but now it looks like the duo are set to give Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic a very hard time in 2017.
And we make it just 9/2 that the Fed-Express can land another Slam success this year, with Wimbledon deemed the most likely venue according to the odds.
The 35-year-old is 20/1 to win the French Open and 14s to win in America in September, but is third-favourite at just 8s to win once again at SW19.
Nadal, meanwhile is 2/1 to win one Slam this season, and we all know where that’s most likely to occur.
The King of Clay has seen his odds of a 10th French Open tumble over the winter, from 7/1 into 5/2.
But the return of these two legends of the court is bad news for Messrs Murray and Djokovic.
Before the tour headed to Melbourne, the Scot and Serbian had bagged 11 of the last 16 spots available in Slam finals.
The absence of both men in Sunday’s final was the first time Since the 2014 US Open final that neither Murray or Djoko had made it to the showpiece.

It’s 3/1 she bags three of the four this year, while 16s says the Michigan-born star finally claims a ‘Serena Slam’ this year.
