Oxford, Brighton and Burnley feature in our Emirates FA Cup acca

It’s Fourth Round time in the Emirates FA Cup, and with plenty of intriguing ties to be decided this weekend, we fancy there’s some value to be had.

So the Ladbrokes News team are putting our necks on the line with a 100/1 five-fold accumulator to see who makes it into Monday’s Fifth Round Draw.

So, let’s crack on.

Rich Marsh – Burnley to beat Bristol City

I’m going with Burnley to knock out Bristol City. The Clarets are a match for the best in the Premier League at Turf Moor, and they should fancy themselves for a little cup run.

Bristol City have lost their last eight in the league, and needed a Replay to overcome League One Fleetwood.

Sadly I think the Robins have more pressing matters to deal with, rather than a trip up to Lancashire, but that does mean that a Burnley victory should be a solid inclusion in our acca.

William Geldart – Hull City to beat Fulham

Marco Silva has been breath of fresh air in East Yorkshire and his side won’t be succumbing to a second cup exit in a matter of days. The Portuguese gaffer has led his side to three wins in the five games he’s been in charge with two away defeats to Manchester United and Chelsea easily forgivable.

Fulham haven’t gone past the Fourth Round since the 2010-11 season, with four of their last five exits coming at this stage.

The Cottagers have also started to stutter in the league of late and the 12/5 on the Tigers looks too big to ignore.

Dave Burin – Oxford United to beat Newcastle

As discussed earlier this week on Ladbrokes News, League One Oxford United look primed to take the scalp of Championship high-flyers Newcastle United.

Why?

Michael Appleton’s side have lost just one of their last 15 games, winning nine. The U’s also have previous form in causing cupsets, having knocked out Swansea City last season.

Added to that, the Toon Army have won just one cup tie in the last five years and haven’t been past the Fourth Round since 2006.

Alex Apati – Brighton to beat Lincoln City

Lincoln have provided us with plenty of cup magic this season, but this is probably one round too many for the Non-League club.

A solid cup run is long overdue for the Seagulls, and they’ve got a great chance of progressing to the last 16. Plus, Chris Hughton’s men have lost just one of their last 20 games.

The key to this one is getting an early goal. Do that, and it should be a walk in the park for the Championship leaders.

Joe Whiteley – Ladbrokes Social Media –  Huddersfield to beat Rochdale

David Wagner’s men have been playing some scintillating football in the Championship.

The German gaffer is taking the FA Cup seriously, so we should expect a strong performance from Huddersfield in their short trip across the Pennines.

Plus, Rochdale have lost their last two – including a 4-0 hammering to Oxford – so this is a prime time to make the visit to Spotland.

So, there you have it. Our five-fold acca comes in at a tidy 100/1!

If you fancy it, you can back it right here.
